Inside Gary's Bedroom

Hey guys, I thought I share this interesting "piece of paper" with you. It is the master bedroom in Gary's house and most likely his bedroom. It is on the second floor and got its own ensuite bathroom. This is how popstars sleep..

From Little Take That City: London Road in Frodsham

A recent photo of Gary's former home in Frodsham. He mentioned this place in his book; it is right next to Frodsham station and locals remember the Barlow family still very well.

Take That's signatures

I found a little piece of paper having to do with The Circus Tour (some kind of agreement) a while ago; it was signed on 21 November 2008 by all Take That members and the signatures are by far the most interesting part of it. So here they are !

Btw: the agreement took effect on 25 November 2008 and I believe it was signed in London.

Edit: just as a reminder - those signatures are from a public document which everyone does have access to. They were on the internet already before I even knew this document (which is completely harmless btw) exists and I am just summarising what is already available elsewhere. It could well be that there are people out there who are looking for these things for fraud purposes; however, they probably do have their strategies how to get hold of a certain signature anyway and I believe that this blog post does not encourage fraud. Please feel free to comment/get in touch for further feedback. Thanks.

TT SNOWMEN

This photo was taken by Becki in Manchester and is utterly cute. I hope you all enjoy the snow here in the UK today and have not been affected by the chaos too badly. Happy 2010 to all TTC visitors :-)

A bit more history from Little Take That City

Gary used to live in Ashton Drive

There is not much going on in Frodsham, but there is a bus stop

and even a small supermarket

and I found this funny car just around the corner from Gary's former home :-)

Get Gary Knighted - Let's make it happen

There is a campaign going on to get Gary Barlow knighted and TTC is a strong supporter of it. I would therefore like to encourage everyone to take part and help to promote the idea because we (Amelia, the initiator of the campaign, TUTSCentral and TTC and other groups) strongly feel that Gary deserves a knighthood because of all his charity efforts.

TUTSCentral came up with a summary this morning why this should happen (please note: this is a summary of Gary's charity work this year only, there is lots more he did).

To support the idea you could follow @getgaryknighted on Twitter for example and help to spread the word. The next step would be that a letter to the Queen will go out (that is the usual process) and @getgaryknighted is currently collecting ideas.

Amelia would like to involve as many supporters as possible and you can let her know your ideas by tweeting them to @getgaryknighted. It can be just a thought, a line or a full paragraph - whatever comes into your mind. A deadline has not yet been set and we will keep you posted.

funny promo photo taken at Gary's nearest letter box

Several celebrities have already referred to the idea (including Chris Moyles, who mentioned it on Radio One, Camilla Kerslake and heatworld) and Gary already knows about the campaign. Please feel free to get in touch, let us know your thoughts and ideas and help make it happen :-)

In order to keep the language barrier as low as possible: you can contact Take That City for comments in German. If you would like to volunteer for another language (Italian, Spanish, anything), please do not hesitate to get in touch :-)

Please note that @getgaryknighted, TUTSCentral and Take That City are different groups and independent from each other. The person behind @getgaryknighted is Amelia.

What TTC did last summer

Remember this and this ? I took the photo below last summer, when I discovered that Gary's and Robbie's former apartments have room on one lense. I love this panoramic view (except for the dirty water) and I wonder whether you could actually see Gary's apartment from one of Robbies balconies/windows ?

Autumn at the Take That boys

TTC thought you may want to see what autumn at Mark, Howard, Jason and Gary looks like. I know normal people cannot understand why this is interesting; I hope you enjoy what you see. Click on the photo for a larger version :-) In about three months, you will get to see some photos how winter looks like, in about six months we will have spring already and I will also show you how summer looks like. I think some of you already know ;-)

Have a nice Sunday everyone !

A knackered looking Gary at Radio One this morning

TTC met a knackered looking Gary Barlow this morning. You may have seen the photos of Gary at Radio One this morning at the usual websites already, so TTC would like to share some background info on what was happening. Gary arrived a bit later than usual (Chris Moyles came out for a fag before he arrived) as he visited another radio station just around the corner, but took time to sign everyones books, cds or just blank paper before meeting Chris Moyles upstairs. He said good morning to everyone, I mean everyone - he said good morning many times which makes him a really nice guy. There were not too many people outside, so those who were there were lucky and got their autograph. Gary was later joined by his daughter Emily; a nice way to spend half term me thinks :-)

TTC has uploaded some (not so usual) photos. Have a look below :-)

Gary signing a book or something

find Gary !

Did you find him ?

I know some of you do get confused - it is James in the forground, Paul looks different ;-)

And finally: Gary with a goodie bag he got from a hardcore fan this morning. It looks a bit christmassy and even had a personal message for him. I had a look inside the bag before it was handed over to him, but since I left my head at home this morning, I have major problems to remember what exactly was inside. It had some candy and something that said "Jack Daniels" inside and also a cassette (you know the thing before CDs came out), but there was loads more which I cannot remember.

Update on the content of the bag (quote):

"
inside the bag was sherbert fountains, his fav, choc, lots of jack daniels..his fav, tshirt, handcuffs, whoopie cushion, an original demo tape of gary when he was 14-15 my dad got coz he from manchester (although his was copied from mine), a cd both me and liz wrote and recorded for him although its terrible and we cant sing! a card, and some love heart sweets...which we leave wherever we go, we filled the card with confettii too and wrote that we hoped it made a mess."

AAWW! and TTC touched the Jack Daniels :-)

Gary in Leicester Square this afternoon

Hello Take That and especially Gary fans:) Below is today's highlight in our world of Take That; a 13 second (wow) video of Gary leaving a radio station in Leicester Square this afternoon. He actually was there with Camilla Kerslake for an interview with Classic FM, but left with a man ! ? With him a trendy Classic FM plastic bag, perhaps filled with goodies ? There were no fans in sight, so he walked undisturbed to his car just before 5 pm.

Sorry for the shaky hand in the second half of the video. I got a bit carried away while watching the preparations for some movie premiere tonight at the cinema right next to the radio station.

For a very good quality of the video, please feel free to visit the Take That City youtube channel.

This is where Gary used to live

Location, location, location ! You know quite a few things about Gary's current house and TTC has now located one of his former homes in London. Howard pointed at his former flat on the Beautiful World DVD saying something like "this is where Gary used to live" and I can understand why he does not live there anymore. The flat is on one of the upper floors offering nice views across the city and the Thames at night. IMHO the view during the day is a bit grey - many not so beautiful buildings opposite the flat and dirty water when looking down the terrace.

The building he used to live in is called "Waterside Point"; a development of luxury flats with concierge and secure parking in Southwest London. TTC is still working on the exact value of Gary's former apartment - depending on size, view and interior some flats are available at below £500,000, while others are £2,000 000 or more.

Feel free to get in touch with TTC for directions :-)

Everyone gets flyers !

Today this could be the Greatest Day of your life... please scroll down for unique competition.

As the topic says: celebrities do get flyers too and so does Gary. The flyer below was distributed in his street not long ago and I doubt that he would ever make use of the offered service: regular house cleaning. I am sure someone is already looking after everything at home. Have a look at the flyer yourself yourself !

I have decided to do one of you a little favour and would like to give away this wonderful flyer. I do not ask you a tricky question to get this souvenir from Take That City, all you need to do is to email me your name (can be a nickname) and location or tweet your name and location on Twitter to TakeThatCity (the blue-yellow logo with the hat on one of the T's). Everyone can take part, no restrictions reg. age, location etc., I know there are fans in all parts of the world.

Please do only take part once. This flyer is genuine. This is a fun competition in our wonderful world of Take That and not a joke ! :-)

Building works in Kensington No. 2

Oh, what's going on in Gary's street ? These pics were taken not long ago and show building works... again ! Funnily enough, there were building works going on at exactly the same place few months ago. You can never do enough building works in Gary's street, can you ? I know some of you are now dreaming of becoming a builder, well.... go ahead !

Also very interesting is the "portable toilet". Not sure what this is for as there is a pub just down the road.

What's new in London ?

It is time for an update after the tour we loved every second of. The "boys" are on holiday now, I am sure you have seen the photos of Gary landing in LA. It has become quiet in Kensington, Gary's car is parked near his house and his letter box has not been emptied for a few days. However, it seems someone is looking after everything once in a while. Howard has also left London and has taken his car. He does not have the "letter box problem", but London is not his main address anyway. I am not sure what Jason is up to. He has got family in London, but he very often travels to Manchester when not working. Mark has been doing normal stuff. It seems he had guests earlier this week and will most likely relax somewhere out of London in the coming weeks.

Oooooops. Attention !

There are minor building works going on in Gary's street this week. Luckily, he will not be home until later this week, so no danger for him and his fabulous dancing. I am saying that without irony. Love his style!

No Junk Mail for Gary

Gary's letterbox says "No Junk Mail"
